Drunvalo Melchizedek studied physics and art at University of California at Berkeley, but he feels that his most important education came after. For the last 50 years he has studied with over 70 teachers from all belief systems and religious traditions, providing him with a wide breadth of knowledge, compassion and acceptance.
He is the first person in the modern world who mathematically and geometrically defined the Human Light Body, which was called the Merkaba in ancient times.
He is the founder of the Flower of Life, Earth and Sky, and Living in the Heart programs.

Merkaba
Science and spirituality blend very well together in the subject of MerKaBa – the human light body.
The ancient spiritual traditions knew that MerKaBa is a vehicle for Ascension. It is believed, (the Hebrews left written guidance) that it can be turned on with specific breathing meditation, which involves the harmonization of body, mind and heart. When this happens the perception of reality is altered, and the MerKaBa becomes active carrying you from one dimensional level to another.
According to the Egyptians “Mer” meant a counter-rotating field of Light, "Ka" - Spirit, and "Ba" - body, or reality. The MerKaBa is known as a counter-rotating living field filled of light that extends outwards 18 to 20 meters (fifty to sixty feet) in diameter around the human body. It looks like a flying saucer. Scientifically this disc can be detected by the Air Forces and projected on their computer screens via satellite.
One of the scientific ways to understand MerKaBa begins with sacred geometry. Geometrically you can locate an electromagnetic field of energy shaped in the form of a Star Tetrahedron around your body. It is made up of two interlocking tetrahedrons, representing male and female energies in perfect balance. The tetrahedron facing up is male, and the one facing down is female. There is also a “prana” breathing tube that runs through the body. It connects the apexes of this Star Tetrahedrans. Breathing in a specific way through that breathing tube activates the rotation of the Star Tetrahedral field of light.
No matter how much you try to know and understand the Merkaba through the sacred geometry, it will never be enough. There is a missing part that is experiential, and can only be experienced while you are immersed in Love. Love is more than necessary; love is the very life of the Merkaba. The doorway for love is in our heart.
In the Awakening the Illuminated Heart workshops, we are introducing the next step of activation, taught by Drunvalo Melchizedek. A totally NEW method of activating the Merkaba from the Heart – Heart MerKaBa.
The old way of activation (as described in “The Ancient Secret of Flower of Life” vol 2, by Drunvalo) is a syntactical, obsolete way that is no longer useful for ascension.
